"The former Perkins Restaurant & Bakery at the Lehigh Shopping Center on W. Union Boulevard in Bethlehem has officially been replaced.

Borderline Restaurant opened Wednesday, said owner Chris Valianatos, a former owner of Bethlehem's Lincoln Hotel.

Valianatos said Borderline's menu will have ''meals that mom used to make.''

In addition to serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant will house a small banquet hall. "
